Custom product kiosk manufacturing

Whether they are designed for an interactive experience, digital signage, or simply a destination to serve your customers’ needs, IMG is well-equipped to produce solutions that turn your bright ideas and organization’s goals into reality.

You’ll find kiosk products we’ve built in Fortune 100 retail, international airports, major hospitality chains, community centers, physicians’ offices, fitness centers, and hospitals all over the world. They’re being used to support customer service, address emergency disruptions, create new points-of-sale, expedite check-in, enhance wayfinding, provide instructions, and much more.

Kiosks that address complex problems or capitalize on opportunities require thorough planning, design, engineering, execution, and support. We are here to partner with you to develop the ideal solution, fully integrated and ready to deploy, for your space and your customer.

“When Clearwave partnered with IMG in 2013, we thought we knew what we needed. IMG showed us what we really needed. The kiosks IMG produces for us are core to our business as a software provider in the healthcare industry. We explored other options before IMG, and we were always left looking for something more and better. IMG knew how to help us build around the ideal user experience, and that relationship continues as our company grows.”

Our Process

Our process is based on decades of proven experience as we have led organizations to solve unique problems and enhance the experiences as they serve their customers. Before ever jumping into designs and manufacturing, it is essential to understand the unique challenges that each stakeholder is facing and then proceed to produce a game-changing product.

Whether a retail, transportation, or other space, our team is ready to partner with you!

  • We're here to help you accomplish something great, not just build a kiosk. The better we understand your goals, the more we can do to ensure success.

The most successful programs are based on the ability to gather key information from various stakeholders and develop a clear scope that results in everyone's agreement. We'll walk with you through a process to gather the wins from everyone who has a role in the success of the program, and we'll translate that into design, integration, and rollout.

  • Everyone gets excited about this part, because it's where the ideas begin to take shape. We'll translate the Scope & Requirements and turn it into real designs, presenting them to your team with explanations for why they align with your requirements.

We'll pull all of the specifications regarding brand, space, support, and end-user experience into the concepts and let you decide what will work best for your organization. Then we'll make updates and move toward a final design that sets you apart from the rest.

  • We can make any of these scenarios work:

    * You know what you need in your kiosk and are comfortable making the buying decisions. You purchase it, and we'll design and build around it.

    * We'll help you decide what you need based on our partnerships in the industry. You buy it, and we'll do the rest.

    * You want us to make the recommendations and provide a turnkey service of purchasing, integrating, and supporting the hardware. No problem.

  • Once we have the design nailed down and the hardware choices made, we can take big steps forward to engineering the exact kiosk. We get down to every detail about materials, how it's made, integration, wiring management, maintenance access, installation, and so much more (you'd have to ask the engineers what other smart stuff they put into it).

Then we'll jump into the first prototype that allows you and us to review and make any final adjustments to the kiosk before going into production. Now we're much closer to rollout of your kiosk program.

  • The rocket has launched! Metal is being cut, bent, welded, and sanded. Plastics are being formed. Screws are tightened, brackets are added, and hinges are mounted. We're building your kiosks and integrating all of the necessary hardware into place. This is the real deal. If you walked into our facility, you'd probably see a series of "soldiers" lined up and ready for battle.

We're wiring, testing, and preparing the kiosks to ship to their final destinations. Quality control is dotting every "i" and crossing every "t" to ensure the kiosk is ready to do its job once it arrives.

  • We'll prepare your kiosks for shipment to their destinations, take care of pallets, boxes, and whatever necessary materials are required to get them their safely and securely. We’ll provide the “white glove” service necessary.

Stuff happens, so we want to make sure your kiosk program is fully supported for the long term. We can provide on-site service for hardware support or the whole kiosk. We have a national network on standby to respond to any need based on the pre-determined requirements and agreement we have with you.

"I've worked with IMG while with multiple software and product companies in the transportation industry. I have first-hand experience of their focus on listening to the customer, gathering the right information, and executing with excellence. I've worked with them on developing passport control kiosks, charging stations, and other programs for multiple airlines and airports. I can't imagine a better partner to develop custom solutions for high profile brands in this market."
